Born and raised in LA, Jess has always had a love for this city and the range of fitness options available to her. After a foot injury prevented her from long-distance running, she tried indoor cycling and fell in love. Cycling became her salvation…her go-to, in both good times and bad.

The impact spin had on Jess was so profound that she abandoned a successful 13 year career in software to open her own studio. She believes that when you combine great people, great music, and a great instructor instilling words of positivity and inspiration, incredible change can occur within a person. And when that change is scaled, the world at large can and will become a better place.

It is her passion towards cycling and her innate desire to help others that led her to this point. This studio is Jess’ dream come true!

Physically and spiritually, the dragonfly so closely aligns with who we are, what we do, and all we aspire to be, it’s actually kind of crazy! Physically they adorn two pairs of strong transparent wings and an elongated body. They are amongst the fasting flying insects in the world, can fly backwards, change direction mid-air, and hover in one spot for up to a minute. They are iridescent in color and range from electric green to deep purple, thus the DFLY color palette!

Spiritually, dragonflies represent change, transformation, lightness and emotional flexibility. They display strength and passion, power and poise, authenticity and integrity in all they do.
