New Sherman Oaks Studio Dragonfly Cycling Makes Sweating Charitable

One of LA’s newest indoor cycling spots does good for your body and your soul. Open as of mid-March, Dragonfly Cycling encourages fitness fiends to pedal in the name of charity at its colorful and modern studio in Sherman Oaks.

Landing at 1,500 square feet, the eco-conscious space boasts 30 Schwinn IC Pro stationery bikes, low-flow fixtures, water-efficient appliances (we’re still in that drought life, yo), and totally paperless booking. Plus, $1 from every ride benefits non-profit org The Teen Project, which helps teens transition out of the foster care system. To help riders earn max karma, Dragonfly offers free classes to girls living at a local housing facility so paying members can offer them “motivation, inspiration, and self-esteem needed to keep on the right track.”
